Manage Your Apps
The My Apps tab lists every app you made with Pake. Each row shows the app's icon, name and address, with a status line when an update or another action needs your attention.
Open and edit
Click Edit to change any option, then Save Changes. Editing reinstalls the same app in place, so it keeps its sign-ins and does not use a free app.
- Changing the address clears the page the app last remembered.
- Changing the size clears the window size the app last remembered.
- Going back with unsaved edits asks Discard unsaved changes? on Mac or Discard Changes? on Windows.
Click Open on the row. When Update takes its place, Open is in the ⋯ menu. The menu also shows the installed runtime version.
Add another account
To sign in to the same site with a second account, choose Add Another Account from the app's ⋯ menu. Pake opens a copy of its settings and icon under a new name, such as Notion 2. No sign-in or browser data is copied, so the new app starts signed out. Creating it counts as a new app.
Update
Rows that can be updated show Update. See Updates.
Remove an app
| How | What happens to sign-ins and site data | |
|---|---|---|
| Mac | ⋯ › Move to Trash | The app moves to the Trash. Its data stays on the Mac |
| Windows | ⋯ › Remove | Kept, unless you tick Also remove its sign-ins and other data |
| Windows | Settings › Apps | Kept |
An app that is running is quit first. On Windows, an app with Hide on close may not close when asked, and Pake offers End App, which loses anything unsaved in it.
Other actions
The ⋯ menu also has Show in Finder or Show in Explorer, and Export Settings… for settings files.
