License
Pake lets you make 2 apps for free. A license lets you make and edit as many as you like, on Mac, Windows and Linux.
What needs a license
Only Create App and Save Changes use a license or a free app. Opening, updating and removing apps is always free, and so is editing or rebuilding an app you already made. The apps you made keep working without a license, after a license expires, and after Pake is removed.
Activate
- Open License… from the Pake menu on Mac, or License from the ⋯ menu on Windows.
- Paste the key from your purchase email into License key.
- Click Activate.
Buy License on the same card opens the checkout. Once active, the card shows Pake is activated and the key, which you can click to copy.
Devices
The card lists the devices using your key, marked This Mac or This PC. Deactivate frees one device, and Deactivate All frees every one. A deactivated computer goes back to its free apps, and the same key can activate it again later.
When the key reaches its device limit, the card shows Device limit reached (Mac) or This key is on its device limit (Windows) and lets you deactivate one from there. A computer that was activated before can take its old place back with Reactivate This Mac (Mac) or Free and Activate (Windows), without using another device.
Pake checks the license now and then, and keeps working offline for up to 7 days after the last successful check.
When activation fails
