Pake App
The Mac, Windows and Linux desktop app is coming soon. Use the free Pake CLI.
Pake for Mac and Pake for Windows turn a website into a desktop app without Node.js, Rust or a compiler on your computer. Paste an address or pick a site from the gallery, adjust the window, and Pake installs an app you open from the Dock or the Start menu like any other.
What you can do
- Make an app for any site, with its own icon, window size and sign-ins.
- Start from the gallery, where sites such as ChatGPT, Notion and YouTube Music come with tuned windows and options.
- Edit, update and remove the apps you made from My Apps, and keep your sign-ins when you change them.
- Update the apps you made for free when Pake ships a newer runtime.
- Save your app settings to a
.pakefile and import them on another Mac or PC.
Pake App and Pake CLI
The free, open-source Pake CLI packages websites from a terminal and needs Node.js and Rust to build. Pake for Mac, Windows and Linux uses the same runtime, adds a window to build in, the gallery, app updates and settings files, and works without a toolchain. The CLI suits scripts, CI and Linux; the app suits everyone else.
